On Monday September 14th Mr Eamonn Brennan, Chief Executive, Irish Aviation Authority, officially launched the Foynes Flying Boat Musuem Book and Control Tower. Special Guest of Honour on the day was Maureen O'Hara Blair, Patron of the Musuem. The function was attended by the Executive Board of the Irish Aviation Authority along with a large contingent of media. The Museum is very grateful to Eamon and his Company for financially supporting us in the rebuilding of the Control Tower and allowing us to complete the major restoration of the building back to it's configuration when it was Ireland's first International Airport.

The Museum strives to produce something new on a regular basis for our visitors both to the Museum and to our web site and now we have a new Irish Coffee Gift Box also on sale.
